After our excellent visit to the Royal Albert Hall in 2025 to enoy the Glyndebourne performance of Handel's "Messiah", we are returning to the Sussex Downs for 2026.

Join us on a TASEG coach trip for an afternoon concert at Glyndebourne, from this year’s Christmas Season.   The Concert features the massed forces of the internationally renowned Glyndebourne Chorus, the Glyndebourne Sinfonia and the talented children of the Glyndebourne Youth Opera for a concert of carols, opera choruses, orchestral favourites and more, under the baton of Glyndebourne Chorus Director Aidan Oliver.   This will be great opportunity to get into the festive spirit for the Christmas Season 2026.

Join us on a TASEG coach trip for an afternoon concert by the London Philharmonic Orchestra at the Congress Theatre in Eastbourne.   The concert features Sibelius’s epic Fifth Symphony as part of a concert filled with the energy and promise of spring.   LPO Fellow Conductor Enyi Okpara – a rising star – begins with the open spaces and big, fresh tunes of Copland’s great American ballet Appalachian Spring, before summoning shimmering magic from Liadov’s Enchanted Lake.   Laura van der Heijden (who grew up in Forest Row) plays a rapturous new classic Cello Concerto by the Master of the King’s Music, Errollyn Wallen. 

This will be great opportunity to spend a relaxed Sunday afternoon on what may possibly be a cold day at the end of January.
